My Practice

I am a qualified and experienced UKCP registered Psychotherapist offering short and long term psychotherapy in West London. I have over 20 years experience in private practice, particularly within the area of bereavement, abandonment, despair, meaninglessness, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, trauma, abuse and self-esteem and end of life counselling support.

My professional approach is informed by the understanding that the human psyche is a self-regulating mind/body system which has its own inherent movement toward health. When client and therapist enter into this creative process the opportunity for creating positive change and development may occur.

I am based in Hampton, Twickenham, close to Hampton Court Palace. My location offers easy access from Richmond, Twickenham, Teddington and Kingston, Barnes and Sheen.

Psychotherapy can sometimes be painful as it involves exploring difficult feelings, beliefs and thoughts. This essential experience, held within a safe and confidential environment, offers potential for healing and provides new perpectives on your situation allowing you a greater freedom of possibilities and choice in your life which provides more appropriate ways of coping.

Psychotherapy aims to help bring awareness and insight to your inner process. Within this contemplative approach we can together explore the possibility of reaching a greater understanding of your situation. This in turn would enable more appropriate ways of coping and the possibility of fostering positive change in your thinking and behaviour.
